Reflections from my first craft fair

Last weekend I took a leap and set up my very first stall at a local craft fair. Armed with a collection of my favourite photographs in the form of cards, prints and canvas pieces, I stepped into a space buzzing with creativity, handmade charm and curious visitors.

I wasn’t sure what to expect; would people stop to look? Would they connect with the photos of flowers and animals I’d spent hours capturing through my lens?

The answer turned out to be a resounding yes.

What struck me the most was the delight on people’s faces as they found pieces that spoke to them, it was humbling to hear stories from visitors who shared a love of nature photography, or the simple joy of discovering something that made them feel.

Behind the scenes it was a real learning curve. I walked away with so much more than sales; I walked away with confidence, connections and a sense of momentum.

So thank you to Knipton village in Leicestershire and to all the lovely people we met.
